This is the last episode from our coverage of the Barcamp Open Science 2020. In this episode Konrad talked with two of the organizers, Guido Scherp and Susanne Melchior from ZBW, for a short recap of the barcamp 2020 as well as a quick outlook.
As usual in March, the Barcamp Open Science took place in Berlin (this year on the 10th of March) and Open Science Radio was again (for the sixth time) supporting the Barcamp Open Science in documenting the event. As last year we had Bernd Rupp from the Wirkstoffradio Podcast supporting us with recordings and interviews. This short episode will give a you a quick welcome and introduction with Konrad, Guido Scherp and Bernd Rupp.
As you can imagine, the current developments around the COVID-19 outbreak have also affected us, so please excuse the significant delay and posting these recordings!

In this episode Konrad talked with Lambert Heller and Guido Scherp, both of them members of the Leibniz Research Alliance and long-term organizors of the Barcamp Open Science. This year they held their session together at the barcamp in order to discuss with the participants how to further develop the barcamp.

This episode is a wrap-up of the 2018 run of those two (related) events, again together with Guido Scherp, one of the organizers (you’ll know him by now). March is here and this year’s Barcamp Open Science as well as the Open Science Conference is only a week away. We’re happy to attend again this year (for the fourth time) and help documenting the events with our recordings. Similar to the last years we’ve invited Guido Scherp to give us a short overview of what we can expect. We’re looking forward to meet a lot of people, exchange ideas and „drag“ some of the events‘ participants in front of our microphones to have them share their insights with us.
